WHY WE DO MISSIONS
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has
been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you
always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matt 28:18-20, NKJV)
GIVING: Priorities of individuals

Raceway Ministries at Bristol Motor Speedway: We are a Supporting Church working with Bristol Raceway Ministries. For the past several years ISBC had had ministry responsibility for one of the larger RV campgrounds for the spring and fall races. Many of our member participate in sharing the gospel, providing opportunities for worship services, and providing activities for children. On race days, Raceway Ministry chaplains minister on the grounds of the speedway in a variety of ways. They distribute Christian material to encourage people in their spiritual lives. They coordinate closely with emergency personnel (EMS and on-site Care Center personnel from Bristol's Regional Medical Center) to offer spiritual counseling to the hurting and their families. They operate passenger vans to transport family members and friends of patients to and from the hospital when appropriate. For more information on how you can be involved contact or email Phil Jones
ISBC Raceway Ministries Coordinator.
