The above image is typical of what we see of turkeys in our area. The image in the above - right area shows the great colors of the tail feathers when the male is strutting. The photo on the right shows the effect of sunlight on the feathers -- these colors were not as obvious when viewed live, but the camera image captured these amazing colors.
