OUR START

INDIAN SPRINGS BAPTIST CHURCH
Started as Glenwood Baptist Mission on October 21, 1954. We were Constituted on November 6, 1955 and Incorporated on October 3, 1969 for the general purpose of the advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ by establishment and maintenance of a Baptist Church that maintains membership with the Southern Baptist Convention.

OUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a local body of baptized believers who are associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel, observing the two ordinances of Christ, committed to His teachings, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word, and seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth. The church is the visible expression of the Kingdom of God in the world today.

 
 

 

STATEMENT OF BASIC BELIEFS
 We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and the basis for our beliefs.   Indian Springs Baptist Church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of The Baptist Faith and Message.  We have voluntarily banded ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost people.

Current membership is around 1100. 
We have about 300 in Sunday School each week and around
